The World Muslim Doctors Conference is expected to open in Mashhad on Thursday.

The gathering to be chaired by Ali Akbar Velayati, MD, a former foreign minister, will bring together over 400 physicians from different Muslim nations.
Different regional and international issues are expected to be discussed at the event.
