87.5 percent of Tehran residents hopeful about future

More than 87 percent of Tehran residents are hopeful about the future following the nuclear deal Iran struck with P5+1, the latest poll conducted by the Islamic Republic News Agency suggests.

The random poll by the official news agency also shows that 68.5 percent of Tehran residents believe that the deal will promote the country’s national glory and that 88.1 percent closely follow the news of nuclear talks and the deal it has produced.

The survey also indicated that 61.2 percent of the residents of the capital view members of the negotiating team as very honest with the public. A little more than 30 percent consider them somewhat honest, while 8.7 percent regard them as slightly and barely honest.
