Deputy FMs brief MPs on final nuclear deal

Tehran, July 26, IRNA – Deputy foreign ministers Seyed Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht-Ravanchi attended the Majlis (Iranian parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission to brief the parliamentarians on the process of inspections and upcoming visits of Europeans.

‘In the course of reviewing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and its consequences the issue should be looked upon from a different angle so that to find out what has happened that the six world powers have become so willing for negotiations and cooperation with Iran,’ Araqchi said, addressing the lawmakers today.

Takht-Ravanchi who was also speaking at the meeting briefed the parliamentarians of a visit by Germany’s trade and economic delegation to Iran, and said, ‘This delegation is the biggest economic delegation of Germany that has ever visited Iran in the recent years.’

‘In the structure of German government economy minister has a high status even higher than the foreign minister and the visit took place due to Iran’s high economic status,’ he added.
