French Foreign Minister returns to Vienna for Iran nuclear talks

French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius returned to Vienna to join talks on Iran's nuclear program.
VIENNA (Sputnik) French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius returned tothe Austrian capital Vienna onSaturday tojoin ongoing talks betweenTehran and international mediators onthe hotly-debated Iranian nuclear program.Fabius had departed Vienna late Friday fora climate conference inParis.

UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond left the talks onFriday and is expected toreturn toVienna onSaturday.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, US Secretary ofState John Kerry and European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini are currently inVienna.
The international negotiators, including the United Kingdom, Germany, China, France, Russia, and the United States are working onthe final details ofa comprehensive agreement onTehrans nuclear program. The deal will ease Western sanctions againstthe Islamic Republic inexchange forassurances, supported byinspection, ofthe peaceful nature ofits nuclear program.Under the April framework agreement, the document was tobe finalized beforeJune 30, butthe deadline has been repeatedly postponed.
