Nuclear deal possible if other side stops excessive demands: Zarif

Vienna, June 27, IRNA -- Foreign Minister Mohammad Javd Zarif said it is necessry that the other side in nuclear talks 'accept the realities', adding that if they recognize the rights of Iranian people and stop excessive demands, then a nuclear deal is definitely accessible.

Upon arriving in Vienna airport on Saturday morning, Zarif said the other side should fullfil all of its commitments on lifting the sanctions.

Expressing hope that reaching a good deal is possible, Zarif said,'We've come to Vienna to strike an agreement within the next few days, although time is not important and a good deal is more imoprortant than a deadline.'

Zarif is in Vienna to join the last part of nuclear talks between Iran and six world powers (US, Britain, France, Russia, China, and Germany). The two sides have planned to sign a comprehensive agreement by June 30, to end a long dispue on Iran's nuclear activities. Austrian Forgin Minister Sebastian Kortez welcomed Zarif in Vienna airport.

US Secreatary of State John Kerry, who is the main negotiator with Iran in nuclear talks, arrived in Vienna last night and is scheduled to confer with Zarif today.
