Baghdad, June 24, IRNA - Minister of Road and Urban Development Abbas Akhundi arrived in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, on Wednesday for an official visit.

While in Baghdad, Akhundi is scheduled to hold talks with senior Iraqi officials on issues of mutual interests.

The Iranian minister traveled to Iraq's southern province of Basra on April 13, 2015 aimed to persue the agreements reached by two countries including the Khorramshahr-Basra railway project.
