New details about collapsing terrorist cells in eastern Iran

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran’s Deputy Interior Minister for Security and Law Enforcement Hossein Zolfaghari revealed more details about disbanding four terrorist cells in eastern part of the country.

“About four teams linked to groups were collapsed (in eastern Iran)… Considerable amount of explosives, weapons and ammunition was found with the group. Some of its members were arrested in an operation in Saravan district before the end of the year (which ended on March 20, 2014).”

He further said that a group which was seeking counter-intelligence in Nik Shahr County, Sistan and Baluchestan Province, southeastern Iran, was identified and some of its members were killed and some were arrested.
