Iran, G5+1 determined to accelerate talks: Official

Tehran, June 12, IRNA – Head of Iran’s Nuclear Negotiating Team Hamid Baeidinejad announced serious willingness of Iran and the Group 5+1 (the US, Russia, China, France and Britain plus Germany) for accelerating talks on Iran’s nuclear program.

Director of the Foreign Ministry for political affairs wrote in his Instagram Page that after several days of expert sessions held since last week, official session of Iran and the Group 5+1 which was attended by all delegations kicked off today.

During the meeting, member states reviewed topics discussed during the past sessions and expressed their serious resolve for expediting the ongoing negotiations.

General meeting of deputy foreign ministers and representatives of Iran and the Group 5+1, co-chaired by Seyyed Abbas Araqchi and Helga Schmidt, was held today morning.

This was the seventh round of meetings for drafting text of comprehensive deal, expected to end today.
