TEHRAN, Jun. 01 (MNA) � Deputy for Ports and Special Zones of the PMO has announced the first international marine exhibition of Islamic countries (Iran Sea Expo) will be hosted by Tehran.

Jalil Eslami noted Iran Sea Expo can play an effective role in identifying the country's sea-related capacities, as well as expand cooperation among the country�s relevant organizations and the private sectors.

�We hope that holding such exhibitions on a regional and global scale, especially in the Muslim world, will boost competitiveness in the sea industry and facilitate the economic development of our country,� he said.

The International Marine Exhibition of Islamic Countries (Iran Sea Expo) will feature various sections including shipping, marine constructions, oil and gas offshore industries, ship manufacturers and repairers, marine transportation, sea foods, ornamental fish, diving and oil operations.

The event will be held from 6-9 June 2015 in Tehran and gather hundreds of industrial companies and experts together.
