Tehran, May 10, IRNA – Iran and Kazakhstan have signed very positive and constructive comprehensive memoranda of understanding (MOUs) in economic, cultural and economic fields and implementing them will expand more than ever before, said President Hassan Rouhani on Sunday.
Congratulating President Nursultan Nazarbayev for being reelected, President Rouhani said in a phone talk that Iran has always trusted Kazakhstan in all regional and international developments as a respectable friend.
‘I hope the convening of the 14th Tehran-Astana Joint Cooperation Conference will lead to pumping fresh blood in the veins of bilateral relations,’ added the Iranian president.
Touching on the Iran-G5+1 nuclear negotiations, President Rouhani said that the two sides have reached joint understanding in many fields and if the required exists in the other side, achieving the final comprehensive agreement will be close at hand.
Kazakh President Nazarbayev thanking his Iranian counterpart for the congratulation call, stressed that comprehensive friendly relations between the two countries must be further expanded and deepened.
The incumbent, reelected Kazakh president meanwhile expressed hope that the Iran-G5+1 nuclear negotiations will proceed successfully and lead to very satisfactory results for both sides despite the ill wishers’ will and the warmongers.
