Iran's supreme leader pushes back against U.S. 'threat'

Irans Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Wednesday that the country would not continue nuclear talks if it is threatened with military action, less than two months until the June 30 deadline for a final nuclear agreement between the Islamic Republic and world powers.

The supreme leader defended Irans backing of the Houthis in Yemen, saying that the U.S. is supporting those who attack women and children in the country and destroy its infrastructure.
US has been disgraced, he tweeted, saying that the Americans need that nuclear talks at least as much as Iran does and cautiously expressing support for his countrys nuclear negotiators. Negotiators should observe red lines& tolerate no burden, humiliation &threat, he said.
