Grounds prepared for Iran, Poland cooperation out of sanctions

Tehran, May 5, IRNA Visiting Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Katarzyna Kacperczyk said on Monday many grounds exit for Iran-Poland relations despite Western sanctions which have created impediments on the way of their bilateral cooperation.




Kacperczyk made the remarks in a meeting here with Chairman of Iran Chamber of Commerce Gholamhossein Shafeie. The meeting was held on the sidelines of Iran-Poland Trade Conference.

Iran and Poland, she said, can expand relations in the field of food industry which rests out of the sanctions.

Referring to the diversified fields of cooperation between the two countries, the Polish official said Iran and Poland can conduct satisfactory activities in transportation, clean energy infrastructures and green technologies.

Meanwhile, Shafeie pointed to the presence of Polish trade delegation in Iran as a prelude to different relations between Iran and Poland. He added that Tehran is determined to take utmost advantage of the possibilities provided for interactng with the world countries.

Shafeie noted Poland is being considered as a communication link for economic activities of Iran with the European Union.

He added the two capitals should seriously follow up promotion of bilateral relations by making further economic contracts.
