Talks to continue until Tuesday for total removal of sanctions

Tehran, May 2, IRNA Iranian nuclear negotiators were engaged in war of words on Friday for drafting comprehensive deal. Negotiations between Iranian deputy foreign ministers and experts with their European counterparts lasted seven and half hours.

Seyyed Abbas Araqchi and Majid Takht-e Ravanchi have been in talks with the EU foreign policy deputy chief, Helga Schmidt, since Thursday for drafting final deal on Iran nuclear program.

The talks were a sequel to Vienna negotiations which took place during April 22-24 focusing on lifting anti-Iran sanctions.

Next round of the talks are scheduled to be held between experts and deputy foreign ministers at nine and eleven o'clock in New York local time respectively and will continue until Tuesday.

Afterwards, the negotiations are to be pursued in Europe.

Earlier, Iranian negotiators have described drafting text as the most difficult stage of the talks which may last hours over a single word.

Currently, the talks mainly focus on lifting sanctions.
