Leader: No room for taking stance on nuclear issue

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution said Thursday that he is neither for nor against the nuclear issue [a reference to the agreement Iran and P5+1 arrived at in Lausanne last week].

Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said in a meeting with a number of Muslim eulogists that people ask why the Leader does not take any stance on the issue, adding that there is no room for stances because officials say that nothing has been done yet and the agreement is not legally binding.
“So I am neither against nor in favor of that,” the Supreme Leader added.
