Tehran, March 1, IRNA Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Sunday expressed condolence to Afghan nation and government on Avalanche disaster which killed over 200 people in the country.
Zarif conveyed the condolence in a phone conversation with his Afghan counterpart Salahuddin Rabbani.
He expressed sympathy with the families of the victims and said that Iran's Red Crescent Society is ready to provide assistance to those affected by the avalanche.
Meanwhile, the Afghan foreign minister regretted that the incident has claimed many Afghan lives and appreciated Zarif for his sympathy.
