Iran's President Rouhani addresses rally on the 36th anniversary of Islamic Revolution.[/caption]TEHRAN Feb 23(Shana)--Irans president has prided on his administrations success in cutting the inflation rate to below 16% from above 40%, saying it has performed a miracle.
Economically speaking, as domestic and foreign opinion-makers have written to me, it has been like a miracle, Hassan Rouhani said.
He said he has lived up to his promise to slash the runaway inflation rate which soared past 40% under his predecessor Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
Rouhani also said that his administration saved the shrinking economy to register 4% economic growth during the first half of the current calendar year which started last March.
