Iran's President Rouhani awards top authors, translators at 32nd ceremony of Irans Book of the Year Awards & the 22nd round of Irans Intl. Book of the Year Awards[/caption]Tehran, Feb 8, IRNA President Hassan Rouhani presented trophies of the 22nd World Book Award of Islamic Republic of Iran to eight top Iranian and foreign writers and translators in a ceremony here on Sunday.
The 22nd World Book Award of Islamic Republic of Iran opened at Tehran?s Summit Conference Hall attended by several high-ranking Iranian officials including President Rouhani and Minister of Guidance and Islamic Culture Ali Jannati.
Several Iranian and foreign writers, translators, editors and publishers from Afghanistan, Canada, Denmark, Japan, Lebanon, the Netherlands and US were awarded in the gathering.
Jannati is scheduled to deliver a speech in the gathering within minutes.
