Iranian naval fleets carry message of peace to world

Tehran, Jan 18, IRNA – Deputy Commander General of the Islamic Republic Army, Brigadier General Abdolrahim Mousavi, said Sunday that Iranian naval fleets in their international missions carry the message of peace, friendship and the culture of the Islamic Revolution to the world.
  Speaking during a welcoming ceremony to the 32nd fleet of the Islamic Republic Navy, Mousavi hailed the presence of naval fleets of the Army’s strategic force in the high seas amid tough Western sanctions imposed on the country.

This naval fleet, composed of Jamaran destroyer and Bushehr frigate aviated for 80 days in the waters of Oman Sea, northern Indian Ocean, Gulf of Eden, Bab el-Mandeb Strait and the Red Sea.

In its mission, the 32nd fleet saved five trade vessels and oil tankers in clashes with pirates.
