TEHRAN, Jan. 10 (MNA) Irans head of Atomic Energy Organization has announced the construction of a large settlement in Bushehr as part of preparations for the new nuclear plant construction.Irans Head of Atomic Energy Organization Ali Akbar Salehi made the remarks on the occasion of martyrdom anniversary of Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan an Iranian nuclear scientist andReza Ghashghaei, one of the staff at AEOI accompanying him who were assassinated in an explosion after a magnetic bomb attached to their car went off through remote control by terrorists in Tehran, 2012.
He commended the efforts and sacrifices of Iranian nuclear martyrs, noting that they had insured the Islamic Republics way toward scientific development with their sacrifices.
He also touched upon the recent terror attack on Paris satirical magazine Charile Hebdo, adding that, at the time the terrorists had just entered Syria, we held discussions with European officials and warned them against the potential threat of such terrorist groups and stressed supporting them would ultimately become troublesome for their own countries; they did not take heed and now we see a clear instance of our warnings in France; a country that was and continues to be a supporter of these terrorist groups.
Salehi then referred to Iran and Russias nuclear agreements, adding that, currently we are reviewing the projects for the construction of two nuclear plants; the construction will enter the implementation phase next year.
Construction of a large settlement in Bushehr will be launched next week, with 2500 residential units accommodating more than 10,000 engineers and staff. These will be in preparation of the nuclear plant constructions, he said.
On Iran, G5+1 nuclear negotiations, Salehi maintained that Iran has removed all excuses the other party would have had, and worked toward a win-win interaction; should they violate any of their commitments, they will lose face on the global scene.
Russia will build two new nuclear power plant units in Iran under an agreement signed in Moscow on Nov. 11, 2014 between subsidiaries of the two countries' state atomic agencies.
Iran already runs one Russian-built reactor in its Bushehr power plant which is now fully connected to the national grid and covers part of the countrys needs for electricity.
