Leader urges need to promote prayers among young generation

Tehran, Dec 31, IRNA Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Wednesday urged the need to use every possible means to promote prayers among Iranian youth.
The Leader made the remarks in a message to the opening session of the 23rd national conference on Namaz (prayers) which is being held in the southwestern provincial capital city of Ahvaz in Khuzestan Province.
Ayatollah Khamenei urged Iranian officials to make every possible efforts to promote the practice of Namaz among the young generation.

Ayatollah Khamenei alsao said it is improtatnt to make realistic evaluations about efforts to advocate Islamic values among the youth, Namaz in particular.

The Leader said Iranian media should use artistic ways to encourage young Iranians to perform Namaz.

The Leader's message was read to the conference by Chairman of Namaz performance center Hojjatoleslam Mohsen Qara'ati.
