TEHRAN Dec 27 (Shana)--Development of Hendijan oil field is under way with pipe-laying operations having been completed, managing-director of Iran Shipbuilding & Offshore Industries Complex (ISOICO) said.
Hamid Rezaeian Asl said structural activities for the construction of two wellhead platforms are currently under way.
ISOCIO is in charge of supplying equipment for the two wellhead platforms as well as 26 kilometers of cable installation and 4.5 kilometers of offshore pipe-laying.
The current production capacity of Hendijan field, which is located in northwest of Persian Gulf, is around 25,000 b/d.
Production from this field started in the 1960s.
