Canadian museum to display Iranian cartoonist

A collection of artworks by Iranian cartoonist, Behzad Ghaffarizadeh, is to be exhibited at a museum in Montreal, Canada.
The Museum of Masters and Artisans of Quebec (Muse des matres et artisans du Qubec) is slated to host Ghaffarizadehs works along with the works by Russian artist, Oleg Dergachov, from January 8 to February 8, 2015.

Born in 1983, Ghaffarizadeh learnt art under the supervision of leading Iranian cartoonist, Kambiz Derambakhsh.

He received his masters degree in metallurgy from the University of Tehran and continued his education as a Ph.D. student in mechanical engineering at cole de technologie suprieure, Universit du Qubec.

His creations have been showcased at a number of prestigious international exhibitions.

Ghaffarizadeh won the 1st Mention of Color Graphic Humor category at the 14th Salon Mercosur International Diogenes Taborda festival in Argentina.
