Tehran, Nov 9, IRNA � Senior member of Iran's nuclear negotiating team Abbas Araqchi says the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei's support for the negotiators has been very effective and promising.
In an interview with the website of the Office for Protection and Publication of Works of the Supreme Leader, Araqchi said, "I do believe that the Islamic Republic of Iran's foreign policy has always followed certain principles; the principles which the Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution has drawn up with respect to the revolutionary and Islamic fundamentals."
"Of course, governments might differ in terms of tactics and literature they use or with respect to their diplomatic tactics in certain junctures; however, the principles of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran is based on "Confrontation with the Hegemonic System" and in line with the country's national interests and Islamic Revolution principles," he added.

On Iran nuclear dossier, he said the nuclear talks should be looked into irrespective of governments. "The dossier is a topic concerning the Islamic Republic of Iran. That's a very important and sensitive project moving on a fixed path despite ups and downs."
