Iran, US not to lose chance for a nuclear deal: Former senator
New York, Nov 8, IRNA Former US senator Bennett Johnston said Tehran and Washington should not lose the chance of reaching an all-out nuclear deal.
Talking to IRNA on Saturday, he said some Republicans in the US Senate are seeking to exert pressure on President Barack Obama over talks with Iran on its nuclear program.
Given their recent victory in the Senate elections, he added, Republicans are expected to increase their pressures on President Obama over talks with Iran.

Expressing optimism about the result of the nuclear talks between Iran and G5+1, Johnston said he saw many promising signs for the fruitfulness of the negotiations.

He said parties involved in the talks especially Iran and the US should not allow the process of negotiations to get any longer.
