Tehran, Oct 10, IRNA - Japanse traditional drum and flute artists set out the Japan Culture Week 2014 on Thursday night palying to a full-packed house at Tehran�s Niavaran Cultural Complex.
The annual event organized by the Japanese Embassy will run by October 16 to introduce the arts and cultural heritage of the Asian country.
On October 15-18, the KITARO Big Concert will be performed at Keshvar Big Hall. An announcment on the tehranticket.com website said all tickets except for the last day are sold out.

Also on October 16, �Omatsuri� (Japanese Traditional Festival) Day will be held at Andisheh Culture Center.

Visitors to the festival will be treated to authentic Japanese food and snacks, presentations of traditional music, dramatic re-enactments of classic Japanese fairy tales, and martial arts demonstrations.

Last year's programs included an illustration workshop by the Japanese paper-cutting artist Shu Kubo at the Iranian Artists Forum where Japanese origami, calligraphy, cartoon and children�s photography were also presented at the festival. The Japanese artists toured Shiraz, Isfahan and Tabriz.

Iran and Japan enjoy historical relations as well as common traditions and culture such as hospitality, patience, respecting family and friendly manner. They have launched cultural weeks and exchange programs to deepen their friendly nations' mutural understanding.
