Iran FM, EU Foreign Relations Council to hold joint meeting

TEHRAN, Oct. 06 (MNA) Iran FM and the EU foreign relations council have started a joint meeting to behind closed doors.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and a group of Iranian Foriegn Ministry members and professors met with a delegation of the European Council on Foreign Relations in Tehran.


This meeting is in line with Iran's public diplomacy to improve mutual undersatdnings between Iran and other nations and boost in mutual ties.


European Council on Foreign Relations had issued a report ahead of the meeting and mentioned that the meeting could be an opportunity for the Europeans to remove sanctions upon Iran and to not wait for the US on that.


It was also mentioned in the report that the Europeans are willing to solve Iran nuclear dispute.


Iranian senior nuclear negotiators Seyyed Ababs Araghchi and Majid Takht-Ravanchi at the annual summit of the European Council on Foreign Relations addressed the summit emphasizing on Irans rights regarding nuclear issue.
