TEHRAN August 27 (Shana): The head of National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) has given a positive assessment of Iran’s drilling industry.
Heydar Bahmani said NIDC should make efforts to enter competitive markets in Iran and in the Middle East.
He said that the NIDC has to identify opportunities and challenges and regularly monitor strategies, adding that short-term and long-term plans are needed for the company to realize its objectives.
Bahmani also stressed the need for supporting domestic manufacturers and said: “Despite restrictions, domestic companies have managed to vie with Western companies.”
“We can make revenues by exporting technical and engineering services. That could be achieved by endeavors, planning and convergence,” said Bahmani.
