Peugeot resolute to invest in Iran car industry

TEHRAN, July 14 (MNA) IKCO and PSA Peugeot Citron directors have expressed both companies interests for cooperation.

Directors of Iran Khodro Industrial Group, known as IKCO, and PSA Peugeot Citron discussed ways for comprehensive, joint investments, for production and exportations.


Hashem Yekke Taz, IKCO CEO and Jean-Christophe Qumard PSA Peugeot Citron, Operational Director of Middle-East & Africa, discussed cooperation between the two companies.


Qumard emphasized on his companys willingness to attend Irans market which he highlighted as a window to the regions market.


Negotiation frameworks emphasized on equipment of IKCO products with eco-friendly engines. Producing new generations of low-consuming engines was also discussed in the meeting.


PSA Peugeot Citron is the second largest car company in Europe.
