Iran MPs vote plan for ‘sensitive jobs’

Tehran, July 7, IRNA – Iranˈs Parliament (Majlis) ratified outlines of a bill obliging state organizations to obtain permission from Intelligence Ministry before hiring people to ‘sensitive positions’.
 Out of 229 lawmakers in the parliament on Sunday, 127 MPs voted in favor, 65 against with 12 abstentions, ˈIran Dailyˈ wrote in its Upside/Downside column on Monday.

The parliamentarians are to discuss details of the bill on Tuesday.
