Iran, Azerbaijan agree on communications

Tehran, June 17, IRNA – Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan have agreed on international and regional cooperation, said Mahmoud Vaezi, Minister of Communications and Information Technology on Tuesday.
 After a meeting with his Azeri counterpart Ali Abbasov, Vaezi told reporters that during Abbasovˈs visit to Iran, the two sides discussed communication issues such as telecommunications, IC, ICT, and post bank.

The trip is in line with the recent agreement inked by the two presidents to boost bilateral relations.

The Azeri minister is also scheduled to meet with IRIB (state broadcasting) officials to discuss issues of mutual interests.
