Religious commonalities help foster Iran-Algeria ties: MP

Tehran, June 15, IRNA – Iranian Chairman of Iran-Algeria Parliamentary Friendship Group Gholamreza Mesbahi Moqaddam said here on Sunday that the religious commonalities have paved the way for expansion of political, economic and cultural cooperation between the two nations.
The MP made the remarks in a meeting with a visiting Algerian parliamentary delegation.

Meetings of Iran-Algeria Parliamentary Friendship Group help promote mutual cooperation, he added.

Given Iranˈs capabilities in the fields of energy and industry as well as technical and engineering services, the MP reiterated that the grounds are prepared for fostering economic cooperation between the two nations.

The Algerian official also called for fostering all-out relations between the two nations.

He then welcomed presence of Iranian companies in his country to make investments in various development projects.
