The largest UNESCO matchstick logo unveiled in Iran

TEHRAN (ISNA)- The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) symbolic logo made by matches in Qazvin Province, central Iran, was unveiled by Secretary General of UNESCO National Commission Mohammad Reza Saeed-Abadi.
"Meysam Rahmani, an Iranian man from Qazvin Province has designed and built the symbolic UNESCO logo. The logo dubbed 'Peace Structure' is made by 135.000 matches and sends the message of peace to the world," Saeed-Abadi said.

The logo, the world's biggest match-made work, has taken one year to be completed, he said, adding it aims to show the importance of the world peace.

He also expressed the hope that the work will be unveiled in Iranian and world peace museums to spread the message of friendship of Iranians to the whole world. It has been included in the Guinness World Records due to its delicacy and creativity.
