TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Vice-President for Women and Family Affairs Shahindokht Molaverdi expressed hope that Tehran-Algiers relations would witness further expansion in all domains during the new Algerian administration's tenure.
In a message to newly appointed Algerian Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women's Affairs Mounia Meslem on Monday, the Iranian official congratulated her appointment to the post, and hoped for further expansion of mutual cooperation in all spheres.
"I am confident that in light of the all-out efforts made by the two countries' officials, especially Meslem, we will witness further expansion of mutual cooperation in many spheres," she underlined.
In recent years, Iran has sought hard to boost ties and cooperation with Africa.
Iran is an observing member of the African Union (AU) and has shown an active presence in previous AU summit meetings.
