Iran to mass-produce Islamic-Iranian software
TEHRAN, May 17 (MNA) Irans ICT minister has said the ministry would support active producers of Islamic, Iranian software.


In a message on the World Communication Day, Mahmoud Vaezi told that profound evolution in information and communication technologies made the information transfer so fast to exchange data in a fraction of a second and a great majority of information switches among the people around the world which bring about revolution in economic, social, cultural and political scopes around the globe so the life styles are affected everywhere.

He continued that expansion of this ICT would increase the public awareness and would cause a demand change, requiring broadband everywhere in the country.

The changes are also seen in the 2014 World Communication Day message communication at the service of an authentic culture of encounter, which should be met with pervasive access to the World Wide Web in the country, added he.

Vaezi held that much effort would be required in this field to spread Islamic-Iranian culture and thought so that scientific movement to create indigenous software with Islamic-Iranian contents would be supported.

He asserted that Iran has unique qualities to be the communication hub the Middle East and on the World Communication Day some projects will be unveiled to increase the international transfer between Iran and Europe.
