Iran is planning to hold the 11th edition of Bismillah International Festival in the capital city of Tehran at the holy month of Ramadan.
The festival will be held at the Economic Cooperation Organization’s Cultural Institute (ECI) as well as Niavaran Cultural Complex in Tehran, the festival’s secretary Mohammad Reza Kamarei announced.
The event is scheduled to host various Qur’anic artworks created by Iranian and foreign artists in two main sections of logotype and poster centered on the theme of bismillah.
Bismillah is the Arabic word which is used as the collective name of the phrase Bismillahi-r Rahmani-r rahim meaning ‘In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.’
Many graphic, photography and calligraphy works will be also showcased at the festival.
