Tehran, March 12, IRNA -- Secretary-General of the World Assembly of Islamic Awakening Ali Akbar Velayati said on Wednesday that Muslim states should well understand their influential role and status.
Addressing th eclosing session of the Islamic Awakening Seminar in Tehran on Wednesday, Velayati said Muslim countries should detect the weak points of the Muslim world to present successful models of Islamic awakening.

�Muslim world should well understand its influential role and standpoint. Islamic Awakening has caused drastic changes internationally as a result of Islamic Revolution in Iran.�

Islamic Revolution of Iran has had strong influence on global equations and Iran also has played important and unique role in this connection, he added.

Velayati concluded that Islamic awakening has provided many opportunities for regional uprisings and Muslim world should benefit from such opportunities.
