TEHRAN Mar 05 (Shana): First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri has stressed the need for the adoption of a national strategic document for energy with focus on the policies of resistance economy.Jahangiri called on the Supreme Energy Council to take into consideration the serious challenges in the energy sector and define strategies for dealing with them.
The meeting was attended by ministers of petroleum, economy, industry and agriculture, head of the Atomic Energy Organization, head of the Department of the Environment and vice-president for planning and strategic supervision.
During the meeting, a report was presented about energy consumption in the country and the challenges and bottlenecks in the energy sector were discussed.
