Tehran, March 4, IRNA � Majlis Vice Speaker Mohammad Hassan Abutorabifard on Tuesday called for disarmament and said that proliferation of nuclear weapons threatens the world security.
He made the remarks in a meeting with head of Legislation and Judiciary Commission at South Korean Parliament Park Young Sun in Tehran.

Abutorabifard said that the Islamic Republic of Iran calls for annihilation of weapons of mass destruction and that the nuclear weapons states must disarm in line with the convention on disarmament.

He expressed the hope to witness further expansion of relations and cooperation Iran and South Korea in the future.

He said that security of energy supply is of prime importance and Iran has good proposals to South Korea to ensure energy supply.

Iran?s principled policy on energy security gave preferenceto to assure the consuming nations about energy supply, he said.

The South Korean envoy for her part expressed the hope that the economic sanction on Iran would be lifted as soon as possible and trade would enjoy remarkable growth.

Exchange of visits between parliamentarians of Iranand South Korea help enhance level of economic cooperation, she said.
