Tehran, March 1, IRNA � Iran is capable of producing various types of missiles, Minister of Defense Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan said on Saturday.
He made the remarks while addressing a gathering of senior Defense Ministry officials.

?Iran is capable of producing different types of missiles including air-to-surface, surface-to-air and surface-to-surface missiles.?

He noted that Iran?s defense industry is very much developed in all aspects of infrastructure, skillful manpower and technology, the minister noted. ?Defense industry is fully ready to meet all demands of the armed forces regarding all kinds of threats including the asymmetric wars.?

The minister further lauded increase in exports of defense products to several world states.

Prior to defense minister President Hassan Rouhani addressed the gathering. He also toured an exhibition displaying the latest achievements of the Defense Ministry and met with senior officials of the ministry.
