Iran rejects reports on daily calls with US officials in Geneva

TEHRAN (ISNA)- An informed official close to the Iranian nuclear negotiating team rejected reports on daily contact between Tehran and Washington officials during the talks between Iran and the G5+1 in Geneva.

'The allegation is not a new subject and has already been raised. At that time we had announced that it was not true and there had not been such a contact between the two sides," the official told ISNA as asked about a Washington official's claim on calls with Iranian negotiating team members.

"It is clear that the contacts have been made on the sidelines of international meetings and had been already announced," the official added.

Iran and the Sextet countries discussed the final step of Geneva deal already concluded late November between the two sides during two-day meetings opened on Monday in Geneva.
