Implementation of additional protocol requires parliament approval

TEHRAN, Feb. 19 (MNA) Irans Atomic Energy Organization speaker has said Wednesday implementation of Geneva Deal Additional Protocol requires Parliaments approval.
Behrouz Kamalvandi who was speaking on the sidelines of national conference on Nuclear Jurisprudence told reporters that this conference would continue for two days from Wednesday to Thursday at the Atomic Energy Organization.

Islamic Republic of Iran is already a member of several anti-WMD conventions. The Leader of the Revolution issued an important Fatwa which is also a state mandate to prohibit any weapon of mass destruction production, stockpiling or use. The Fatwa reinforces the idea against such weapons and promotes such culture around the world, asserted Kamalvandi.

Asked about Amanos recent claims on Irans rejection of the Geneva deal Additional Protocol and sabotaging visits to the nuclear plants out of framework set by the agreements, Kamalvandi told that Mr. Amano made different remarks recently and thanked Iran for cooperation with the IAEA; however, the Additional Protocol is going to be implemented after the joint plan action if approved by Irans Parliament.
