Tehran, Feb 17, IRNA � First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri cabled a message on Monday to the Tunisian premier to felicitate ratification of the country?s new constitution.

In the message addressed to Tunisia?s Premier Mehdi Jomaa, Jahangiri described ratification of the new constitution as a historical event and great achievement for the Tunisian nation.


He said given their historical and cultural commonalties and their role in forming the Islamic civilization, both countries would witness consolidation of relations and cooperation at regional and international levels.
