Fajr film festival unveils national nomination list

The 32nd Fajr International Film Festival has released the nomination list of the national section of the event, Crystal Phoenix Dreamers.

The section’s jury has introduced the nominees in different categories on Sunday, February 9, 2014.

Seyyed Hadi Eslami for the movie Che, Behnam Khaksar for the movie Sensitive Floor, Amir Saharkhiz and Kamran Saharkhiz for the film I’m Not Angry and Simon Frame for the film Hussain Who Said No were nominated for the Best Special Visual Effects.

Nominees for the Best Special Effects are RezaTorkaman for his contribution in the film The Last 50 Feet, Hamid Reza Soleimani for the movie Che, as well as Hussein Who Said No, Late Mohammad Javad Sharifi Rad and Mohsen Rouzbehani for the film Meraji.

Nominations of the Crystal Phonix for Best Portrayal include Soudabeh Khosravi for the movie 143 Furrow, Mohsen Darsang for the movie Everything for Sale, Mohsen Mousavi for the film Hussein Who Said No, Mehrdad Mirkiani for his works in two films We Have Guests and Tales.

Abbas Boloundi for the movie Che, Abtin Barqi for the movieSome Cubic Meters of Love, Sharareh Soroush for the movie Everything For Sale, Marjan Shirmohammadi for the film Azar, Shahdokht, Parviz and the Rest are among the nominees for the Best Costume Design.

The 2014 edition of Iran’s most important film presentation and competition event, Fajr Film Festival, kicked off on February 1 and will come to an end on February 11.
