Fajr film festival unveils national nomination list

The 32nd Fajr International Film Festival has released the nomination list of the national section of the event, Crystal Phoenix Dreamers.

The sections jury has introduced the nominees in different categories on Sunday, February 9, 2014.

Seyyed Hadi Eslami for the movieChe, Behnam Khaksar for the movieSensitive Floor,Amir Saharkhiz and Kamran Saharkhiz for the filmIm Not Angryand Simon Frame for the filmHussainWho Said Nowere nominated for the Best Special Visual Effects.

Nominees for the Best Special Effects are RezaTorkaman for his contribution in the filmThe Last 50 Feet, Hamid Reza Soleimani for the movieChe, as well asHussein Who Said No, Late Mohammad Javad Sharifi Rad and Mohsen Rouzbehani for the filmMeraji.

Nominations of the Crystal Phonix for Best Portrayal include Soudabeh Khosravi for the movie143 Furrow, Mohsen Darsang for the movieEverything for Sale, Mohsen Mousavi for the filmHussein Who Said No, Mehrdad Mirkiani for his works in two filmsWe Have GuestsandTales.

Abbas Boloundi for the movieChe, Abtin Barqi for the movieSome Cubic Meters of Love, Sharareh Soroush for the movieEverything For Sale, Marjan Shirmohammadi for the filmAzar, Shahdokht, Parviz and the Restare among the nominees for the Best Costume Design.

The 2014 edition of Iran's most important film presentation and competition event, Fajr Film Festival, kicked off on February 1 and will come to an end on February 11.
