No geographical borders limit Iran when attacked: Cmdr.

Nasim–Lieutenant Commander of the IRGC Brigadier General Hossein Salami said Iran would recognize no geographical borders and limits when struck militarily.

Speaking in a televised interview, Salami said the Islamic Republic’s well-mannered attitude in the nuclear negotiations should not be taken wrong from American officials.

“America, with its strategic ignorance, does not have a full understanding of the power of the Islamic Republic,” he said.

“We have recognized America’s military strategy, and have arranged our abilities, and have identified centers in America [for attack] that will create a shock.”

He said Americans can practice their military option but should be ready to shoulder its destructive ramifications.

“We are bothered by no geographical borders for endangering the interests belonging to the enemies of the Iranian nation,” he warned US officials for repeatedly speaking about a military option being on the table regarding Iran’s nuclear program.

The proper treatment of Iranian politicians and diplomats should not be inferred erroneously by Americans, he added.

He said Iran would never consider a military option in its diplomatic dealings even though it enjoys a “really powerful, destructive and deterrent military power”.

“We have full surveillance over the enemy’s vital interests and can target them as and when we wish….Our missile systems are advanced enough to strike mobile targets….Iran is in possession of drones that can target objects just like cruise missiles,” he asserted.

Commenting on the recent developments in the region regarding the Syrian conflict and Geneva II talks, he said Iran is a power in international equations and no problem can be solved in the region without Iran’s intervention.
