Ebtekar urges engagement of Iraqi women in environmental programs
Tehran, Feb 2, IRNA Presidential Advisor and Head of Department of Environment Masoumeh Ebtekar urged Iraqi women to further engage in environmental projects.
She made the remarks in a meeting with Iraqi Minister of Women Affairs Ibtihal al-Zaidi in Baghdad Saturday evening.

She hoped for contribution of Iraqi women in such environmental projects like forestation and voiced Iran?s readiness to provide training and knowhow to Iraq in this connection.

The Iraqi minister pointed to harsh conditions prevailing her country in the past decades and said the country has still a long way to make improvements in environment protection field.

She welcomed any training or education in line with the empowerment of Iraqi women to contribute to environment protection.
