US urges UN to set conditions for Irans participation in Geneva II

Nasim The United States urged UN Secretary General to lay down Irans explicit and public support for the full implementation of the Geneva communique including the establishment of a transitional governing body as condition for Irans participation in the upcoming Geneva conference.
This is something Iran has never done publicly and something we have long made clear is required, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said in a statement, adding that US is deeply concerned about Irans contributions to what they called the Assad regimes brutal campaign against its own people. And threatens that if Iran does not fully and publicly accept the Geneva communique, the invitation must be rescinded.
