Iran mass produces two new nano drugs

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran has mass produced two nano-drugs to hit the market soon for recovery of Leishmaniasis and destroying cancer cells.
One of the drugs is nano liposomal Amphotericin B gel to treat Leishmaniasis.

The drug is a topical medicine for treatment of the skin disease. The clinical tests on the drug has proved its efficiency. This is the first time that the drug has been developed for tropical use.

The other drug is nano curcumin (original extract of turmeric) with anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects which plays a leading role in treating cancer.

The drug prevents duplication of cancer cells and reduces the resistance of cancer cells in the process of chemotherapy. It is also used to treat diabetics, alzheimer, parkinson, cardiovascular disease, microbial and arthritis.
