Cuba considers Iran as its strategic partner

Tehran, Jan 15, IRNA Cuban Acting Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, in a meeting with Iran?s Deputy Foreign Minister in Europe and American Affairs, called Iran as Cuban strategic partner in all fields, especially in economic ties.

According to the report of Foreign Ministry website on Tuesday, Antonio Carricarte Corona in the meeting with Majid Takhte Ravanchi, by referring to Iran?s economic and scientific progress, expressed his country?s readiness to expand commercial and economic relations with Iran as a strategic partner in different fields.


Ravanchi, who is visiting several Latin American countries heading a delegation, by referring to importance of ties with countries of Latin American region, expressed Iran?s readiness to expand ties with Cuba in all fields and said that Iran?s foreign policy is based on continuation of cooperation with friendly countries upon mutual respect.
