Tehran, Dec 28, IRNA – Iran’s Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Reza Najafi said the recent visit of the watchdog’s inspectors to Arak heavy water facilities took place within the framework of its agreement with Iran.
Talking to IRNA on Saturday, he said Iran asked the IAEA inspectors to visit the heavy water production unit in central Iran within the framework of an agreement already reached between the two sides.
Najafi stated that the call was based on agreement with the IAEA not according to the one recently made with the 5+1 in Geneva.
He said the IAEA inspectors have verbally announced that the visit to Arak has met all their demands.
