TEHRAN, Dec. 25 (MNA) A jury of the third Jam-e-Jam Television National Film Festival has said Gaza is a dominant theme of the festival.Mehr News quoted Mohammad Hassan Tamjidi speaking about the reviewed candidates in international section of the festival. As predicted, the artistic works of the IRIB Radio and TV in tele-film, series, and single productions under the Resistance and Islamic Awakening category is above the products by other countries in quality, he added.
Given the higher quality of IRIB TV productions, these products were not admitted in international category. This is especially evident in tele-film section, Tamjidi asserted.
He believed that among the documentary reviewed for contest, documentaries by Aljazeera had the best quality given their superior facilities and expertise in documentary production. Some documentaries by the EU countries are higher in quality than the Arab states productions, he said.
About the geographical distribution of the Resistance and Islamic Awakening theme, he said that Gaza was the dominant theme; however, productions featuring Egypt and Libyan revolutions were reviewed, but Gaza is thematically popular, because it is older than these revolutions in terms of history, he said.
